ECHIGO MISO

EST 1771. Echigo Miso was founded as a saké brewery in Yoshida, Tsubame by the Imai family. They began making miso in 1931. Still making miso in the same wooden barrels from the 1930s, Echigo Miso pours their heart into their craft, passing the culture of fermentation down to younger generations. Visitors to the factory can revel in the aroma of the miso and feel the weight of history first-hand.
