KAKURI WORKS Ltd.

As a manufacturer of carpentry tools, they have been providing tools to DIY lovers, educational institutions and woodcraft artists for more than 60 years. Having established their know-how in Sanjo, they have been crafting tools according to their motto “great tools create great products,” with the aim of enriching the culture surrounding carpentry. During the festival, they will hold a dried bonito shaving workshop (Experience 1) and a woodcraft workshop (Experience 2).

Dried bonito shaving workshop
Fee: Free
What to do: Participants can try shaving dried bonito, and they can eat the shaved flakes. Tofu by Sakuma Shohin is planned to be served together with the dried bonitoes.
