A historical workshop filled with the sound of hammers
Founded in 1816. Originally a maker of copperware kettles, Gyokusendo produces a wide variety of copperware vessels including tea implements, sakeware, and flower vases. Hand-hammered from a single sheet of copper, each vessel shapes itself to the user, developing a new glow with age. During the festival, Gyokusendo will hold workshops in which visitors can make a small dish (Experience 1) or a sake cup (Experience 2). For hungry guests, the Suzuvel food truck will be operating in the parking lot.
