Farm with the history of 27 generations
HIURA FARM

Since 2000, Issho Hyakusho Hiura Farm has produced organic rice and grown vegetables with the aid of organic fertilizers. The climate and natural environment of Niigata is ideally suited to growing rice and so the farm endeavors to create better vegetables on farmland that has been passed down through the generations. During the festival they will hold cucumber harvesting workshops (Experience 1) and a party where visitors can taste fresh cucumbers and rice (Experience 2), as well as hosting a pop-up kitchen by DAIDOCO, which will feature their pickled cucumber ochazuke.
