A metalsmith making special nutcrackers
FURUSAWA SEISAKUSHO Co.,Ltd.

Founded in 1912. Known for manufacturing nipper-shaped nail clippers that are based on the design of traditional kuirikis, end-cutting pliers used to trim metal wires. At this workshop equipped with a combination of traditional and modern machinery, you'll find young artisans passionately swinging their hammers at red-hot steel as they work to improve their skills. This factory's specialized tools were also used for the renewal of Ise Grand Shrine. During the festival, they will hold workshops to experience their unique nail clippers, and to try out their special nutcrackers.
