Place to experience the joy of farming
Uchiyama-nouen

This farm house has a history spanning eleven generations. Utilizing only minimal amounts of chemicals and fertilizers, they produce safe foods such as rice, komatsuna leaves, and seasonal vegetables; as well as lemons and kumquats, both of which are hard to grow in Niigata. Constantly taking on new challenges, they now grow Italian vegetables and wheat as part of their involvement in Italian Vegetable Workshop. During the festival, visitors will be able to enjoy lunch at the farm.
