EST 1954. Sakuma Foods is a soy company devoted to producing quality tofu products. Niigata is Japan’s second largest soybean producer, and Sakuma Foods uses local soy and pure water from the Ikarashi River to make fresh tofu, fried tofu, and okara soy pulp. Sakuma’s mildly-sweet soy doughnuts are also popular.
