Sanjo Kaji Dojo

The main site for “Tsubame-Sanjo Factory Festival” that acts as the entrance to the festival. The site is generally used as a place where master artisans share their knowledge of traditional wood and metal working techniques with the younger generation, in addition to hosting a variety of workshops for locals and extracurricular programs for school children. During the festival, a number of events are scheduled: Japanese nail and letter opener making workshops and knife sharpening workshops (Experience 1), small fish knife making workshop (Experience 2) and “Young Meister” workshop (Experience 3).
